New Delhi, 11th Dec: Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan on Thursday paid heartfelt tributes to former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, on his birth anniversary, remembering him as a towering statesman whose distinguished political journey shaped India’s democratic evolution.
In his message shared on social media, the Vice-President highlighted Shri Mukherjee’s decades-long service to the nation in various capacities — as a parliamentarian, Union minister, and later as the President of India. He noted that Mukherjee played a pivotal role in strengthening democratic institutions and guiding the country through significant transitions.
